In 2007 Karen took a position at Georgesons Solicitors & Estate Agents, working on reception and property department, it was clear she had a flare for the property side of the market so quickly became a Property Assistant.
In 2011 she became a partner of Georgesons Estate Agency and the firms were separated, the new company Georgesons Estate Agents Ltd was formed alongside partner Bruce de Wert.
Karen built the business up becoming more successful, re-opening the Thurso office and then on to opening a branch in Tain in 2014, her former home town. Karen continues to run the business alongside her team of six dedicated skilled staff.
In 2017 Karen achieved qualifications in letting and management, which are now compulsory, she is currently working to achieve a qualification in Estate Agency, although not compulsory.
Karen grew up in Tain when her parents relocated from Caithness due to work commitments and she moved back to Wick when she was 20 years old to raise her family with husband Derek meaning she has a wealth of knowledge of both the Caithness and Ross-Shire areas. Her family still reside in Tain meaning she travels back very often and helps with the Tain office.
Her family are grown up now, but not quite left the nest yet, so she enjoys weekends away and travelling. Karen loves to socialise with her friends both in Wick & Tain, she is dedicated to the Gym and has recently taken up wild swimming around the coast of Caithness.01955 firstname.lastname@example.org
